The Happiness Myth vs. The Joy Reality
Most of us chase happiness, convinced it awaits us after the next promotion, relationship, or vacation. But happiness is circumstantial – always focused on the the past or future.
Joy is different. Joy is simpler. It’s a wave that flows through the present moment, unmistakable when it arrives. When Joy appears, you know it instantly – no doubts.
My coaching isn't about toxic positivity or suggesting your difficulties exist because you're "not positive enough". That approach doesn’t help and it doesn’t create meaningful change.
More joy wont fix everything! But it will empower you. It will make you stronger. It will give you an outlet for the things that make you feel most alive. It will give you breathing space.
Joy will remind you of your worth, it will connect you to what is most important in your life and it will impose you to build resilience.
Joy every day? No! It’s unrealistic to feel joy every day; I don’t feel it every day myself. But it’s essential to be able to return to it. It’s about balancing the good moments with the challenging ones, connecting with yourself, and letting go of all the patterns and conditioning that have shaped our beliefs.
